Not working in the pest industry

Studying with Rapid Solutions provides you with opportunities to gain recognised qualifications to support your career in Pest Management. Rapid Solution's trainers and assessors are all fully qualified with significant experience in pest control, business management and training. Our staff aim to assist you in achieving further qualifications or gaining formal recognition of your practical experience.

Our certificate courses consist of an online program and practical demonstrations are provided by video; no practical tuition is included in the course. Most of our students gain practical experience with ‘on the job’ training.

If you are not currently employed in the pest management industry you are still required to gain and demonstrate practical skills. We strongly recommend that that you purchase some of the basic equipment requirements:

• PPE
• Hand-held sprayer
• Hand duster
• Gel applicator
• Torch
• Overalls (cotton or disposable).

You will then be able to better understand their use and practise using this type of equipment (without chemical). We have spoken with the three major suppliers to the pest management industry and put together a Rapid Training student pack which you can purchase at any of the distributors below.

Click on the following links to get their contact details:

  1. Agserv
  2. Garrards
  3. Globe.

You may require practical tuition or would like additional support with practical components required by the course. If this is so please contact Rapid Training on 1800 196 572 or support@rapidsolutions.com.au

Additional assistance may be required

If you are not working in industry and don't have access to on the job training we would recommend that you attend a practical tutorial in the use of application equipment (fees apply). We can also assist in the hiring of some standard application tools to practise with (not for use with any pesticides).

Course Time Frames

Each certified course expires 12 months from the enrolment date. The courses are self paced and can be completed in as little as 8 weeks.
